SpamRepellent subjects Spam to two proprietary anti-spam weapons:
    The Mail-Filters Bullet Signatures Database
    ...that enables the detection of spammers and the messages they send.
    The Mail-Filters STAR Engine
    ...that detects spammer tricks, allowing it to catch new types of spam, like embedded content, HTML and foreign language spam.
The result is a unique combination of spam detection techniques that is seldom fooled by spammers’ tricks and consistently catches 95% of the spam with less than 1 false positive in 1,000,000 messages.

The signature database is maintained with updates derived from actual spam. It is updated automatically to ensure up-to-the-minute protection for users.
